Ferro Silicon is mainly used as a deoxidizer in the steel making industry, in order to obtain chemical composition of qualified steel and to improve the quality of steel. Also it is used as inoculants and nodulizers in the cast iron industry and as a reducing agent in ferro alloy production. In addition it is used as welding electrode coating in the electrode manufacturing industry.
